All learners will be assessed through the following methods:

  • Observation during role play/simulation
  • Questioning may include class activity, verbal answers, written questions, activity modules or interview
  • Portfolio may include documents, products with supporting documentation
  • Structured Activities may include Projects, Case studies, presentations, role play, demonstration, progressive tasks

What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal academic requirements needed for this unit of competency, however, at the time of the enrolment, applicants must:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • have access to:
    • a computer or laptop
    • Internet access with a reliable speed of at least 5mbps
    • Google Chrome (recommended browser)
    • MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel or equivalent applications.
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader or equivalent application
    • Zoom account and software or app
    • webcam, headset or speakers and microphone
  • Have basic computer/digital literacy skills to conduct online distance learning

Numeracy and Literacy
Language, literacy and numeracy requirements are needed to undertake this course. This is assessed through pre-enrolment LLN assessment. For example, applicants would need the ability to:

  • Use clear language and logical structure in preparing reports and presentations to convey information
  • Apply theoretical and technical knowledge and skills to work autonomously
  • Exercise judgement in completing routine activities relating to mortgage and finance broking
